The renowned hotel group Rosewood Hotels & Resorts will open a luxury resort in the wellness destination of Amaala on the west coast of Saudi Arabia. Developed by Red Sea Global, this unique destination will offer a new level of luxury travel by combining wellness and sustainability.

Focus on sustainability and environmental protection

Amaala and Red Sea Global are committed to protecting and enhancing natural ecosystems through regeneration and sustainable development. Rosewood Amaala will be surrounded by breathtaking nature, including the fourth largest reef in the world and the picturesque Hijazi Mountains. Luxurious accommodations and unique architecture

Rosewood Amaala will include 110 exclusive guest rooms and suites and 25 luxury Rosewood Branded Residences. Designed by renowned architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Architects, the resort will offer an oasis of well-being and tranquility.

100% renewable energy and zero carbon footprint

The resort will focus on sustainability and be powered by 100 percent renewable energy. It strives for a zero carbon footprint and plans to send no waste to landfills.

Protection of the endangered turtles

Rosewood Amaala will place special emphasis on protecting nesting hawksbill and green turtles, which are endangered species. All construction will be focused on leaving the turtles undisturbed.

Culinary experiences and rock pools

The resort will offer a variety of culinary experiences, including upscale cuisine, casual dining and beach-inspired club lounges, all overlooking the Red Sea. In addition, two rock pools were created to protect the valuable coral reefs and provide guests with safe access to the water and beach.

Family friendly activities

The Rosewood Explorer’s Club will offer family-friendly experiences to inspire the next generation of environmentally conscious travelers.

Asaya Spa – a sanctuary for well-being

The Asaya Spa will be the focal point of the resort’s wellness offerings, providing a retreat for meditation, tranquility and well-being. The private treatment pavilions are arranged around a green oasis.
